and having “low access” to healthy food. Low income is defined as Low income is defined as having an annual family income
at or below 200 percent of the Federal poverty threshold. Low access is defined as population that is beyond 1 mile for urban areas or 10 miles for rural areas from a supermarket.
Number of library materials lent to the number of persons the library serves. This is the annual circulation divided by the library's legal service area population, and indicates the average number of loans made to each resident annually.
Number of domestic violence offenses per 1,000 residents. Domestic violence includes any violence of one family member against another family member. Family can include spouses, former spouses, parents who have children in common regardless of marital status, adults who live in the same household, as well as parents and their children. Many offenses occur without arresting perpetrators.
